Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Predrop (“Predrop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a product built by Magna Collective, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Predrop app. Predrop is a pre-publish coaching tool for Instagram creators: it reads your own Instagram content and insights to help you understand how a draft may perform before you post it.

1. Who we are

Predrop is developed and operated by Magna Collective. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@magnacollective.xyz.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run Predrop for you. This falls into four categories.

Instagram account data (read-only, your own account)

Accessed through the “Instagram API with Instagram Login,” on a read-only basis, for your own account only, and only after you log in and grant consent. This includes:

• Profile: username, name, biography, profile picture URL, account type, and your followers, following, and media counts.
• Media: for your posts — caption, media type, timestamp, like count, comment count, media URL, thumbnail URL, and carousel item URLs.
• Media insights: reach, saved, shares, and views.

Authentication data

When you use Sign in with Apple (via Firebase Authentication), we receive your name and email address.

Content you submit for analysis

The draft captions, images, and video frames that you choose to analyze or simulate in the app.

Derived and usage data

Computed scores, baselines, insights, simulation results, and basic app diagnostics.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above solely to provide Predrop’s features for your own account, including:

• your PreDrop Score (how a draft may land against your own baseline);
• Insights into the themes, formats, and posting days that work for your account;
• Ideas seeded from the topics that over-perform for you;
• the audience simulation (the Swarm); and
• your graded Feed, with the reasoning behind each result.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build cross-user profiles from it.

4. How your information is shared

We do not sell your data. To operate the service, we share limited data with a small number of trusted third-party processors, each used only to provide Predrop’s features:

• DeepSeek. Your captions, images, and video frames are sent to DeepSeek’s AI API to analyze your content and generate scores, ideas, insights, and simulations. This is used only to provide the service and not to train AI models.
• Google Firebase (Authentication + Firestore/Cloud). Stores your account, history, insights, and your Instagram access token securely.
• Apple. Provides authentication through Sign in with Apple.

To be explicit: we do not sell your data, we do not post to Instagram on your behalf, and we access only your own account.

5. Instagram and Meta Platform compliance

Predrop complies with the Meta Platform Terms and the Instagram Platform Policy. Platform Data — your Instagram profile, media, and insights — is used only to provide the features described in this policy and is not used to train AI models. Predrop requests read-only access to your own professional account and does not request permission to publish, message, or manage comments on your behalf.

6. Data storage and retention

Your data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud). We retain it until you disconnect Instagram or delete your account. After that, your data is removed within 30 days.

7. Your choices and data deletion

You are in control of your data. You can request deletion in any of three ways:

• In the app: go to Settings, choose Disconnect Instagram, then Delete Account.
• By email: write to hello@magnacollective.xyz with the subject “Delete my data,” from your account email.
• In Instagram: go to Settings → Apps and websites and remove Predrop, which deauthorizes the app and triggers deletion.

Your data is deleted within 30 days, and we confirm by email. For full instructions, see our Data Deletion page.

8. Security

We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information, and your Instagram access token is stored securely in Firebase. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to it to what is necessary to operate the service.

9. Children’s privacy

Predrop is not directed to children. You must meet Instagram’s minimum age requirement to use a professional account and this app. If we learn that we have collected information from someone who does not meet that requirement, we will delete it.

10. International users

Predrop relies on the processors listed above (Google Cloud, DeepSeek, and Apple). Your information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where those processors operate. By using Predrop, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and, for material changes, provide notice within the app. Your continued use of Predrop after an update means you accept the revised policy.
